You will be alerted to oncoming traffic by arrows. To speed up the car, click on it. In the bottom right corner of the game screen, there is a button labeled 'slow traffic'. By using that button, you can temporarily slow down the vehicle. When viewing a vehicle, you must be extremely cautious.
